We had a great turn out of 84 riders on November 4 for our first Spring series Friday Fun and Lazy Loops Race in 2016.
The course involved a small section of Comm Games, followed by Hug, Upper Blair Witch and then the fire trail along the fence from Snipe all the way back to the event transition zone. There were plenty of kids and parents out enjoying the race and the warm weather (a lot of the kids were faster than their parents!).
Despite the strong winds, there were a lot of smiles out on course.
Lots of friendly conversations could be heard between riders (including the kids), which was great to see.
StopnGo Coffee provided amazingly delicious iced-mochas and iced-chocolates, and also hot chocolates and coffees once the cool night air arrived.
The 1st Narre North Scout Group cooked up a storm, providing a mouth watering sausage sizzle.
Life of Bikes supplied some awesome prizes for the race plate raffle.

A BIG thank you to our LDTR volunteers, StopnGoCoffee and the 1st Narre North Scout Group for helping the night run so smoothly!
Also to Life of Bikes for providing the awesome prizes!
We hope to see you all again in two weeks time (November 18) for our next race!
