A great turn out to the LDTR Family/beginner ride today. We did a 8km ride around the lake circuit, with a small detour up to the bottom of Aneurysm.
Lots of kids and parents out for a beautiful morning ride. We even had some first time MTBers on brand spanking new bikes, great effort. Even though we stuck to the fire roads, we still saw a few minor crashes and a bit of blood from a few knees (Get used to it kids, there’s a lot more of that if you stick with the sport).
We finished with a lot of fun at the pump track and skills park. Thanks everyone for attending, and we hope to see you at the next family ride on November 13.
