Really good conversation and great to see all positive in nature.
I have no issues with races being held at Lysterfield only to make sure that the trails are dry and will not be damaged. Races must be re routed onto fire roads or dates changed when the trails are too wet. In saying this a race can be benificial for the trails when a new trail needs to be bedded in. A high volume of riders can bring in a really good line.

That's a really good point, I've done some races where brand new single track goes from a bumpy line in the dirt, to sweet fast flowing trails in a matter of hours.
I would like to see a race over all the new sections of track at the northern end of the park soon, but only if it's a nice sunny day....
